The Longreach Show Society is very appreciative of the excellent number of fleeces entered into the Wool Section over many years. This has helped maintain a sound financial position for the Society, and we look forward to your continued support. 

PLEASE NOTE:             Entries close 23rd April (Micron Tested)

Open classes - 9am Friday 19th May (Not Micron Tested)

For the first time in the history of the Show, fleeces will be judged by Objective Measurement, and thus on their commercial value. The fleeces will be displayed as always on Show Day, along with the results of their objective measurement.

Fleece entries (except the Open Classes) close on 23rd April, 2017.

 They may be left at Elders, Landmark or Glen Rural Traders.

Please mark your fleeces’ plastic bags well, and advise Paul on the above phone number, that you have left them at which depot.

There will be Open Classes, for fleeces brought in by 9am Friday, 19th May, however these fleeces will not be eligible for any of the Championships.

No Entry Fee will be charged where the fleece entered is donated to the Society. Any fleeces that are not donated will carry an Entry Fee of $5.00. Pets and Juvenile Fleeces exempt.

No fleece will be exhibited in more than one class.

The Judge is at liberty to place any fleece in any class if he feels that the fleece is incorrectly classified.
